Month 03.06 - Hula Hoopin'

"See Daddy, its easy to hoop."

Paige received a hula hoop from the Easter Bunny.  She really enjoyed swinging it around, and has even started to get the hang of it a bit.

Bonus Photos:

 "Is Grandma here yet?"

Grandma Alice was coming for a visit.  Paige decided to wait on the curb (for almost 30 minutes) until she arrived.

"I don't see any Easter Eggs back here Daddy."

"It's an UMBRELLA!"

"I'll just sample this one rice krispie treat egg. Ok, Momma?

"Mor Mor, How do you make a waffle?
Paige and I took a trip up to Ely to see my parents.  Paige learned the ins and outs of waffle making.

"Happy Birthday Daddy!"

Month 03.05 (Part II) - Steps

 "Ta da!"

Steps can be quite a useful tool for the imagination of a child.  They can be a hill, a mountain, a slide, a bed, or even a stage.  Paige is really starting to assert her choices in what she wants to wear a lot more often.  She often comes up with some interesting combinations.
Bonus Photos:

"blah, blah, BLAH!"

Paige finds it funny to talk with her tongue sticking out of her mouth.  No idea why.

Check out the new lid.

"Well, baby, I guess I need to learn to steer better. Just let me hop out and straighten this thing up.  We'll be going again in a jiffy."

First fire of the season.  Probably the earliest on record.

"AHHH!"

Paige's first visit to the dentist.  She was a champ, and her teeth are in great shape.

"Have fun baby,  don't forget to write"
Paige should really try and name her babies.  She has about 10 of them, and they are all just called baby (except for baby boy and baby girl).

So apparently Paige knows how to climb trees.  Now to work on the getting back down part.

Month 03.05 (part I) - Breaking News

"Big Sister.  Little Brother."

Paige is just happy it isn't an Alligator Baby.

Month 03.04 - Dance, Dance.

"Time to dance!  Watch me!"

Paige has developed a love for dancing.  I think it is because of watching the Forest Lake Dance Team.  Whatever the reason, she likes to dance around and say "shake your booty."  Of course, it wouldn't be Paige if she didn't include some kind of crazy daring feat.  She decided that putting all of the dining room chairs together would make a good dance floor, and then she could dance right off the end.

Bonus Photos:

"I'm all alone in my tent.  Nobody will play with me."

"Let's go Momma, you have to keep up!"
It has been a very strange winter around here.  In total, I would guess we have had snow cover for maybe 3 or 4 weeks.  It has been bouncing back and forth over the freezing point since November, which of course makes for fun times outside.  But not so much for our allergies and colds.

 "Hooray!  Candy!"
Paige received more than her fair share of Valentines Candy.

"I AAAAMMMM looking at you Dad."

The difficulties in front of the camera continue.  I thought with all of this picture taking since she was little would make her more willing to be in front of the lens.  Apparently I thought wrong.  This was about as close to a sitting portrait I could get.

Month 03.03 - Watch Out Below

"Here I come, watch out!"

We spent the weekend in Stevens Point, and it turns out they have a really great sledding hill in the park there.  It also turns out that Paige loves going down huge sledding hills all by herself on a saucer.  I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Bonus Photos:

"Watch out Daddy,  I'm coming after you with this snowball."

"Do you like my Christmas Tree?  It is decorated and everything."

Paige took a few of the branches from our Christmas Tree and placed them in her house.  She even decorated them with some bows and bells.  She was very excited to show it off, and very reluctant to take it down after Christmas was over.

"Crayons on snow.  What a wonderful idea!"

Paige had a great time playing with her snow crayons that she was given by her Uncle Bryan and Aunt Mandy.

"Let's go Taylor, we have many things to do!"

Taylor came for a visit (and brought the fam with her.)  They had a lot of fun with Paige's Castle Tent.  Turns out it works great as a rocket ship too.

Month 03.02 (part III) - Easy Bakin'

"Is it done YET?"

Grandma Alice and Grandpa Steve made a quick trip up after Christmas (and of course brought tons of gifts).  One of the highlights was Paige's first Easy Bake Oven.  The first batch of "red velvet cupcakes" turned out great!

Bonus Photos:

"STOOOMPPP ROOOOCKKKETTT!!"

"Did I win?  I love cooties!"

Month 03.02 (part II) - A Wish Fulfilled

CROCS! YESSSSS!!!!

We asked Paige many times what she wanted from Santa.  Every time she said, without hesitation, "Pink and Purple Crocs."  Santa Delivered in style.  He brought her two pairs of Crocs that were pink and purple.  Paige also got the goggles that you see on her head in her stocking.  It was our first Christmas together in our house.  (We have always traveled in the past).  It was nice to have Santa come to our house and Paige wake up here, but it was hard to be away from family.  All in all, it was a very nice Christmas.

"This bow is as big as my face!"

You can come in my princess castle Grandpa Roger.  Because you are the King!"

"A Swimming Back Pack!  How did Santa know?"

Paige also got a swimming back pack from Santa.  She is in the midst of learning how to swim.  The little thing is amazing.  You just strap it to her back, and off she goes cruising around the pool.  She loved the ones at swim class, so now she can have one of her own.
