Week 02.26 - Crayon Pizza

"I made you pizza Daddy!  Try it."

Ah, to have the imagination of a 2-year old.  Everything is a toy, everything is real, and everyone always needs to pay attention to it all.

Bonus photos:

"Wait, what did you just say?  Time for bed?  No way man."

"Gotta water Momma's flowers."

"When's Momma going to get home?

Paige has been rather uninterested in me lately, and much more focused on Valerie.  I assume it is just a stage, but then again, I can't blame her if it isn't.

Week 02.25 - A Lonely Walk

"Dada?  Momma?  Where you go?"

We went to visit my parents in Detroit Lakes, and we went for a walk in the nature preserve.  Paige had a blast running around and looking for alligators and lions.  Sadly we didn't find any, but we had fun none-the-less.

Bonus Photos:
"Let's get this show on the road.  I'm not waiting around all day for you kids."

"Puddles!"

"Worms?  Yuck!"

Week 02.24 - Rainbow of Colors

Sorry for the delay.  Been a busy few weeks around here.  Thus without further ado:

"All the colors are fun.  Just have to be careful."

Easter Egg coloring was almost a success, but our dining room floor almost ended up a permanent shade of Orange.  Turns out the carpet cleaner actually works.  Lucky us.

Bonus Photos:
"Can we watch Bambi again?

"Get me outta here!"
"No, I donmgp't haasfkve nurfmning in my mourgph."

Week 02.23 - Tunnel Slides

"I go head first, right?"

Time for a quick score tally.  Head first sliding, no problem.  Jumping off of 3 foot high steps, check, climbing up 8 foot tall chain letters, easy.  The way I see it, if we can get her to put her shoes on the correct feet, we will have pretty much won at this parenting thing.

Bonus Photos:

We had to take advantage of the nice weather (that lasted all of four days).

Come on, let's go.  Kaija needs a nature walk!"

Every walk is a nature walk to Paige.  Even if we just tool around the block.  I guess that says a lot about our neighbors...
"This forest needs some color, I figure a little pink would be good."

"My chair."

Week 02.22 - Catwoman

"Raaaaawwww"

I never would have expected how much Paige would like the idea of monsters and masks.  It seems like at least once a day she is talking about monsters.  The above mask was a home-made mask she made at a birthday party of one our friend's child earlier in the year.  She is certainly of the put on a mask and you are a different person crowd.

"The last of the winter blues.  I think it is almost gone Daddy!"

Well, almost is pretty good at this point.

"Too bright!"

Well, at least there is always something weather-related to complain about!

"Spring is here Daddy!"

Spring is here.  Break out the rubber boots, rain jackets, and no pants!

Week 02.21 - Been There, Done That.

"Yeah, it has all been done before.  There's nothing new under the sun"

Another day, another job, another problem, another headache.  Ok, so maybe Paige doesn't have any of the above, but she sure can give you a look like she does.

"I can totally see fine when I wear my "Princess Fiona Hat."

This is Paige's "Princess Fiona Hat"  I have no idea why Princess Fiona would wear the hat, nor do I have any idea why she likes to wear it so far down on her head that it covers her eyes.  I doubt we will ever find out the answer to these and many other mysteries of Paige's brain.

"The Easter Bunny's coming soon.  Right?"

Week 02.20 - Badger Bummer

"Boy, my parents sure know how to pick teams that are a big disappointment."

The Badgers had a less than successful Big Ten and NCAA tournament this year. Paige enjoyed watching the games with Valerie, but she can only handle about 10 minutes before getting pretty antsy.

Bonus Photos:

 "Stand right here Daddy?"

I was taking some photos before we went to see Annie at the Fireside, and needed a stand in to test the lighting.  Worked out pretty well I think.
"Clean up, clean up.  Everyone do your shaaaareee."
