Week 01.24 - Wooden Truck

"Beeb Beets!  Beeb Beets!"

We went to visit my parents this weekend, and there was a great surprise.  Paige has a wonderful new toy to play with at my parent's house.  A wooden truck, complete with little cars to haul around, and two drivers.  She had a lot of fun driving it around yelling Beeb Beets!

Bonus Photos:

"Better get out of my way.  I mean business.  Oh, and I seem to have run out of gas.  Any chance you could spare a gallon or two?"

"Too busy thinking to comb my hair Dad.  Sheesh."

"Watch out, here I come!"

Paige is starting to master walking down the stairs all by herself, just like a big girl.  Only one minor spill over the weekend.  She is quite the determined and independent little girl.

Week 01.23 - A Walk in the Woods

"It's kinda hot and dry out here Daddy, can we stop and take a rest in the shade?"
Well,  we are in the middle of quite possibly the nicest spring in the history of Minnesota.  The weather has been fantastic.  Paige, Kaija and I decided to head out for a walk in the woods along the river bluff, and Paige decided she wanted to take a short rest underneath this fallen tree.  I was happy to oblige.

Bonus Photos:

"Come on, lazy bones Kaija.  No time for stopping now."

"I've got spirit, yes I do.  I've got spirit, how 'bout you?"

It was School Spirit Day at daycare.  So, Paige dressed up in the most teal and pink clothing that she has.  You would think she has more.  We were pretty surprised that morning when we had to decide what to dress her in.

Week 01.22 - Cleaning the Chompers

"Brush, Brush, Brush!  Keep 'em clean."

So, chewing on a toothbrush with some toothpaste on it has to help at least a little bit, right?

Bonus Photos:

"Good job Momma, these look beautiful!"

The daffodils are in full bloom.  Things are looking up!

Morning window-lit portrait.  Enough said.

"On the count of ten, draw!"

Showdown at high noon in the back yard.  Watch out.  I hear she is the next Annie Oakley.

"I think I might have run out of gas.  It doesn't want to run..."

Week 01.21 - Easter Egg Hunt!

"This collecting Easter Eggs stuff is like stealing candy from a baby!"

Paige did a very good job collecting Easter Eggs around the yard at Grandma Alice's house.  She found every single one, and only needed a little help.

"Bubbles!"

Paige has learned the word Bubble.  Most likely because that is the name of the fish at daycare, but she has also learned that it means throwing soapy water around (and trying to drink it) too.

"You didn't want to sit in this spot did you Grandma?"

(Yes, that is three pictures from one day...sue me!)

"Is there anything better than Easter baskets and toothbrushes?"

You really have to pry the toothbrush out of her hand. She doesn't give it up without a fight.  Now, if that can continue on into her teens, that would be terrific.
