Week 01.20 - Paige in Purple

"Don't you love my leg warmers?  Thanks Auntie Stephanie!"

Paige has finally grown into (and the weather has warmed enough) for her leg warmers.  They make crazy ridiculously cute things for babies.  Almost painfully cute at times.

Bonus Photos:

Kids get dirty outside.  All the time.

"Leaf Pile!  Jump on in!"

Unfortunately we were unable to get all of the leaves up before the snow came last fall.  We have some trees that drop quite late.  Thus, we had to start this spring.  Paige didn't mind too much.

"Wait for me Kaija!!!!"

"Ready, Set, Go."

Week 01.19 - Every Word Counts

(Paige, don't put your finger in your nose.)  "OK, Dad, How's this!"

So she probably didn't do this just because I said don't put your finger in your nose, but it sure seemed like it.

Bonus Photos:
"Why did it get so dark again all of a sudden?"

Daylight savings time means heading to daycare before the sun comes up again.  I imagine it would pretty confusing for a sixteen-month-old.

 "Just try and catch me!"

"It's hard to be this cool."

Week 01.18 - Easter Eggs

"Grandma Alice, thanks for helping me, I like coloring Easter balls."

We spent the weekend with Grandma Alice, Grandpa Steve, Uncle Bryan and Mandy.  I had a conference in Milwaukee on Friday afternoon and evening, so it worked out well.  Paige had her first Easter Egg coloring experience, although she didn't quite understand what an egg is.

Bonus Photos:
Bath time, again.  Always a good photo opportunity.

"Danger Mouse has got nothin' on me!"

"You go first Kaija, these stairs are HUGE."

Week 01.17 - Life After Dusk

"You said it was almost spring.  You're a liar. (Not that I really know what spring is... but still.)

One last hurrah for the Winter with some sun peaking through after work.

"I can't believe you just did that!"

Oh Paige, you will learn some day that Daddy has no balance and tends to fall.  A lot. (So this was right before I fell, but who is counting?)

"Thanks for all the golden dollars, they are fun to put in my piggy bank!"

Paige has mastered saving for her future.  Now if her parents could just figure that one out.

"Sledding is hard W O R K!"

You have to climb back up the hill.  Life is rough Paige.  Death, Taxes and Gravity.

"zzz."

The best part about sledding?  Coming back inside and napping.

Week 01.16 - Snowball Fight

"Thank you Uncle Bryan, I'm gonna get Mommy good."

Uncle Bryan came up to spend the weekend.  The weather outside is starting to look up, so we took advantage of it (and the DVR was taping curling anyway).  Paige had a very good time.  We figured out that you could put socks on her hands, and they actually stay on her hands.   They quickly got wet of course, but it was better than nothing.

Bonus Photos:

"I think I see spring over there, Dad."

"I'll be home for supper.  Just want to get some sledding in!"

Is it me, or does she look like she is about 5 years old in this one?  Next thing you know, she will be 5, and heading to the park to go sledding.
