"Grasping the Early Morning Light"This morning before work the sun was shining into our dining room window just perfectly, so I spent a few minutes taking photos of her. I had to say goodbye to her and head to work. It is pretty hard to leave her at home.
Upon review of the first week of this blog, it seems like my style of photographing (or perhaps a rut...already?) is developing. I promise in the next week to try and take photos of more than just close ups of her (adorable, cute, darling) face. At least today was somewhat of a departure, seeing as the focus of the photograph is her hand, and it is in portrait orientation instead of landscape. I guess that is why it is good to analyze ones own work, to see if we fall back on those things that make us comfortable.

It's hard, but your photography will be the better for it. It's really forced me to try different things.
